Terms of Service

1. The Service

Fincile provides revenue reconciliation and audit reporting for Shopify merchants. The service matches Shopify order records against payment gateway settlement data to surface discrepancies, exceptions, and potential revenue exposure.

Audit outputs are decision-support material and should be reviewed against authoritative source records before any financial adjustments, dispute filings, or accounting entries are made. Merchants remain responsible for validating refunds, chargebacks, tax treatment, and all financial decisions.

2. Shopify Billing

Paid plans are billed through the Shopify billing system. Charges are subject to Shopify's partner revenue sharing terms. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the renewal date. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

3. Acceptable Use

You may not use Fincile to:

• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data for purposes unrelated to your own store reconciliation
• Circumvent billing or plan limits
• Violate applicable financial regulations or payment processor terms of service
• Upload CSV files containing third-party data you are not authorized to process

4. Data and Privacy

Your use of Fincile is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We process your Shopify order data exclusively to provide the reconciliation service. We do not sell or share your data with third parties except as necessary to operate the service (e.g., Cloudflare for infrastructure).

5. Limitation of Liability

Fincile is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fincile shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for direct damages shall not exceed the fees paid in the 30 days prior to the claim.

6. Termination

You may terminate your use of Fincile at any time by uninstalling the Shopify app. We may terminate or suspend access for violations of these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.
